Atalanta failed to return to winning ways, drawing 1-1 against Milan at the “Gewiss Stadium” in a Serie A clash.
This was the fifth consecutive draw for Ivan Juric’s side, who remain unbeaten in the league with two wins and seven draws.
The visitors started the match better, taking an early lead in the fourth minute with a goal from Samuele Ricci, after a deflected ball from Ederson.
However, Atalanta reacted quickly and created several good chances through Zappacosta and Ahanori, but without success.
The equalizing goal came at the end of the first half when Ademola Lookman scored with a powerful left-footed strike, following a precise assist from Mario Pasalic.
In the second half, Milan pushed for the win with the introduction of Nkunku and Loftus-Cheek, but even their efforts weren’t enough to find the decisive goal. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan saved the Rossoneri at the end with a crucial stop on Zappacosta’s shot.
In the end, the score remained unchanged, leaving Milan satisfied with a point away from home and Atalanta still winless on their own turf.
In the Serie A standings led by Napoli, Milan sits in third place while Atalanta remains seventh.
