Barcelona have secured their place in the Copa del Rey semi-finals after defeating Albacete 2–1 away from home.
The Catalan side started the match with authority, dominating possession and creating several serious chances in the opening minutes.
Marcus Rashford was the first to threaten the home goal, while the game was also marked by intense duels and challenges that resulted in yellow cards.
Barcelona took the lead in the 39th minute, when Lamine Yamal capitalised on a well-worked move involving Frenkie de Jong, scoring with a precise long-range effort to make it 0–1.
In the second half, Barcelona maintained high pressure and doubled their advantage in the 56th minute. Ronald Araújo rose highest to head home from a corner delivered by Rashford, extending the lead to 0–2.
Albacete attempted to respond late in the match. Jefte Betancor found the net, but his goal was ruled out for offside, while Javi Moreno managed to reduce the deficit in the 87th minute. However, it was not enough to change the outcome.
Barcelona calmly managed the remaining minutes and confirmed their qualification for the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
