Galatasaray is preparing one of the boldest moves of the summer transfer window, targeting Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva with an offer of 15 million euros per year.
According to the Turkish outlet Takvim, negotiations have already entered the second phase, and the club is planning direct talks with Silva’s representatives next month. The discussions are reportedly focused on an annual salary of 15 million euros, a figure that would place the Turkish champions ahead of many other clubs across Europe.
Silva is entering the final months of his contract with Manchester City, and since there is still no agreement for an extension, several clubs across Europe have begun positioning themselves to secure the services of the Portuguese midfielder.
During his nine-year spell at Manchester City, Silva has won six Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League trophy, and has made more than 440 appearances, becoming one of the most trusted players of Pep Guardiola.
The possibility of him becoming a free agent makes him one of the most sought-after midfielders on the market at the moment.
