Barcelona have won their first trophy of 2026. The Catalans triumphed 3–2 over Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final, which was played in Saudi Arabia.
It was a spectacular match, filled with goals, red cards, and plenty of drama on the pitch.
Raphinha gave Barcelona the lead in the 36th minute. In first-half stoppage time, Vinícius Júnior equalized, but just two minutes later Robert Lewandowski restored Barcelona’s advantage.
However, the drama did not end there, as in the 45+6th minute of the first half, Gonzalo García scored for Real Madrid to make it 2–2.
The second half produced only one goal, but offered plenty of tension and adrenaline until the final whistle.
Raphinha scored the winning goal and secured the trophy for Barcelona in the 73rd minute, completing an outstanding individual performance.
Until the final whistle, Real Madrid pushed hard in search of an equalizer, but without success, as Barcelona celebrated winning the Spanish Super Cup.
