Erling Haaland continues to write history in the Premier League, matching Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal tally after scoring against West Ham.
The Norwegian quickly equaled the Portuguese legend’s record, netting his latest goal in under seven minutes.
This was Haaland’s sixth goal against West Ham in his last three matches, taking his total to 148 goals in 169 appearances for Manchester City.
His second goal of the day also saw him surpass club legend Francis Lee on City’s all-time scorers list, placing him behind only six players who have scored more goals for the club.
Haaland also equaled Manchester United icon Ronaldo with his 103rd Premier League goal, but achieved this milestone in 119 fewer matches than the Portuguese forward.
Ronaldo reached the same mark in his 233rd appearance across two separate spells at Old Trafford, before leaving the club permanently in 2022.
Meanwhile, Haaland’s next target is to reach 150 Premier League goals faster than City legend Sergio Agüero.
