“It was 11:00 p.m. We were returning on the team bus to Turin after playing against Atalanta BC in Bergamo. Both Cristiano and I had started the match on the bench because the coach wanted to rest us for the next game.
Cristiano came on and scored, but for him that wasn’t enough. While we were on the bus, even though we were only a few seats away from each other, he sent me a message.
