Sancho Becomes the Second Englishman to Score for Four Clubs in European Competitions

Aston Villa winger Jadon Sancho has recently achieved a major milestone, making history among English footballers.

In the seventh round of the Europa League league phase, Sancho scored the decisive goal in a 1–0 victory against Fenerbahçe.

This was his first European goal for Aston Villa this season, but it carried special significance.

According to Opta, the Aston Villa winger has become only the second English footballer to score in European competitions for four different clubs. Sancho has now scored in Europe for Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Chelsea, and now Aston Villa, joining Peter Crouch, who previously held this record.

Crouch achieved this feat in the past with clubs such as Liverpool, Portsmouth, Tottenham Hotspur, and Stoke City.
