The son of football legend Diego Armando Maradona has made a striking statement about Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay, offering high praise for the player.
Following his decisive goal against Cagliari Calcio, he said: “After my father, McTominay is the most decisive player in the history of SSC Napoli. If Diego was God, then Scott is Jesus.”
McTominay has impressed since his transfer from Manchester United in 2024, being named Serie A Player of the Year and earning a place in the Ballon d’Or rankings.
This season, he has recorded 11 goals and 4 assists in 36 appearances.
