The contract of Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano expires in the summer, and talks over a renewal are ongoing, but his situation has attracted the attention of Europe’s top clubs.
According to reports, both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in the services of the French defender.
However, according to journalist Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, the Spanish club considers Upamecano’s financial demands to be too high and, for this reason, is not willing to move forward at this stage.
Upamecano has been part of Bayern Munich since 2021 and has so far made 114 official appearances for the Bavarian club, scoring five goals.
At international level, he has been a member of the French national team since 2020, with thirty-five caps and two goals scored.
