Vinícius “drives Europe crazy” – his numbers have even surpassed Ronaldo

Vinícius Júnior has surpassed the early records of Cristiano Ronaldo in the Champions League, further strengthening his status as one of Real Madrid’s most decisive players in European competitions.

The Brazilian forward recently became the youngest player to reach 80 appearances in the Champions League, marking the milestone with two goals in Madrid’s victory over Manchester City, which secured qualification for the quarterfinals.

Before turning 26, Vinícius has recorded 34 goals and 26 assists in this competition—significantly more than Ronaldo, who at the same age had 26 goals and 13 assists.

His impact is even more pronounced in the knockout stages, where he has contributed 26 goals and 13 assists, also surpassing Ronaldo and proving his ability to shine in the biggest matches.

Vinícius is now also approaching the numbers of Lionel Messi and Neymar. With 29 goal contributions in 39 knockout matches, he ranks second only to Messi in this age group, while already surpassing Neymar and Kaká as the most productive Brazilian in the history of this stage.

The 25-year-old has reached a total of 60 goal contributions and is now close to Neymar’s record of 73, continuing to build an extraordinary legacy in European football’s elite.
