Brazilian star Vinícius Júnior has expressed his desire to have shared the pitch with Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid.
“I would have liked to have played with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, but he left shortly before I joined the white team,” Vinícius said.
Ronaldo left the Madrid club in the summer of 2018, precisely at the time when the Brazilian talent was taking his first steps at the “Santiago Bernabéu.”
A Vinícius–Ronaldo partnership in the same attacking line would undoubtedly have been guaranteed spectacle for the fans, combining the Brazilian’s speed and dribbling with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s killer instinct in front of goal.
