The Roads of Life
The roads awaited me — long, hushed, enduring,
their stones holding whispers of forgotten years.
One carried me to the dawn of joy,
another led me to the ache of longing.
At every turn I left a trace of my soul —
a smile half-remembered, a wound half-healed.
The roads taught me that no step is in vain;
even when lost, you walk closer to yourself.
Now, when I look behind, I do not tremble,
for every path has shaped the human in me.
In the end, there is neither loss nor victory —
only a single, endless road called Life.
