Trent Alexander-Arnold could return to Liverpool after losing his place in Real Madrid’s starting lineup.
According to FootballTransfers, the Englishman has become the third-choice option at right-back, increasing the possibility of a departure as early as the January transfer window.
Liverpool are looking to strengthen this position, as Jeremie Frimpong has failed to meet expectations, while Conor Bradley has been hampered by frequent injuries.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City have also expressed interest in Alexander-Arnold, TeamTalk reports.
However, according to The Athletic, the English defender is not currently seeking a move away from Madrid.
His future is expected to depend on how much playing time he receives under Jose Mourinho.
