Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich turned the first leg of the Champions League semifinal into a true spectacle, with a total of nine goals at the Parc des Princes (5–4) – the highest-scoring semifinal in the history of the European Cup/Champions League.
At the center of attention was Bayern Munich’s attacking trio, Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Díaz, who all got on the scoresheet in this clash as well. Kane, who also registered an assist, scored one goal, while Olise and Luis Díaz also found the net, confirming their outstanding form this season.
With this run, Kane (54 goals), Luis Díaz (26) and Olise (20) have reached a total of 100 goals in the 2025/26 season (excluding assists), equaling the legendary Real Madrid “BBC” trio – Cristiano Ronaldo (61), Karim Benzema (22) and Gareth Bale (17) – who achieved the same tally in the 2014/15 season. Likewise, Messi (38), Eto’o (36) and Henry (26) also reached 100 goals with Barcelona in the 2008/09 season.

According to statistics, this trio is now the most productive in Bayern Munich’s history, surpassing even the 2019/20 season when Lewandowski (55), Gnabry (23) and Müller (14) scored a combined 92 goals.
Bayern Munich still has (at least) five matches remaining this season – three in the Bundesliga, the Champions League second leg, and the German Cup final against Stuttgart – aiming to break the major records of historic attacking trios in Europe.
Kane, Olise and Luis Díaz continue to set individual records as well: Kane became the first English player to score in six consecutive Champions League matches, Olise has reached 45 direct contributions (goals + assists) across all competitions, while Luis Díaz scored in Europe for the fourth consecutive match, reaching 7 goals and 3 assists in the Champions League.
Now, the main challenge remains the same: to eliminate PSG and continue their path toward the trophy.
