Manchester City have held initial talks over highly rated young midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, who is viewed as a long-term target by the Premier League runners-up.
A total of four clubs have shown interest in the Lille prodigy, while Paris Saint-Germain, at least for now, are not pushing ahead with a move as they have other priorities in the transfer market.
Manchester City’s plan, if an agreement is reached, is for Bouaddi to remain at Lille until the start of the 2027/28 season, before joining Enzo Maresca’s squad.
