Barcelona and Real Madrid players will face each other tonight at the King Abdullah Stadium in Jeddah, this time in the final of the Spanish Super Cup.
The biggest rivals in Spanish football will fight for the country’s third most important trophy, after the La Liga title and the Copa del Rey, while fans are expecting yet another spectacle from their teams.
Both sides come into this clash in good form. Barcelona have won nine consecutive matches in all competitions, while Real Madrid have recorded five straight victories.
The Catalans reached the final after a dominant 5–0 triumph over Athletic Bilbao in the semi-final, while Real defeated their city rivals, Atlético Madrid, with a 2–1 victory.
This will be the second El Clásico of the season, as the two teams have already faced each other once in La Liga, where Real secured a 2–1 win at the Santiago Bernabéu.
