Kylian Mbappé is widely backed to finally win the Ballon d’Or in 2026, after many years of coming very close to individual glory on the biggest stage in world football.
The French star took the world by storm in 2018 with France, and scored a historic hat-trick in the 2022 World Cup final, but ultimately was left disappointed after losing to Lionel Messi’s Argentina. Former France international Bacary Sagna has no doubts about Mbappé’s future and believes this is his moment to shine.
