Inter Fans Officially Banned from Attending Away Matches

The Serie A Disciplinary Committee has issued a severe ruling following the Week 23 match between Cremonese and Inter.

Fans of the Milan-based club have now been officially banned from attending their team’s away matches in the Italian league until the end of March 2026. The sanction was imposed after a dangerous incident last Sunday, when one of the “Nerazzurri” supporters in the away section at the Giovanni Zini Stadium threw a firework toward the home goalkeeper, Emil Audero.

The pyrotechnic device exploded very close to the goalkeeper, narrowly avoiding a serious injury.

Serie A authorities deemed the act completely unacceptable. The harsh punishment will affect thousands of dedicated Inter supporters, who will now be unable to back their team in crucial away fixtures during February and March.

The club itself has not yet issued an official statement regarding a possible appeal.

It is worth noting that the match ended in a comfortable 2–0 victory for Inter.
