Real Madrid is prioritizing the return of Endrick from Lyon, a move that would open the “door” for the departure of striker Gonzalo Garcia.
Endrick has been shining at Lyon in recent weeks, being among the most in-form players, with the team fighting for a place in the Champions League.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Real Madrid has decided to trust Endrick again, and therefore will give him another chance at the Santiago Bernabéu next season.
“Real Madrid is planning to have Endrick in the squad for next season. The Brazilian wants to return, and the club wants to trust him after his loan spell at Lyon.”
As a result, the Spaniard is expected to make way for the Brazilian, with several clubs showing interest, including Borussia Dortmund.
Unlike Endrick, Real Madrid is expected to sell Garcia permanently, valuing him at over €60 million.
“Final approval will come after the coaching situation is resolved. If Endrick stays, then Gonzalo Garcia could leave,” he wrote.
