Real Madrid appear to have won the race to sign one of the most promising talents in European football, JJ Gabriel, who is currently part of Manchester United.
The Spanish giants have made significant progress towards securing the services of the 16-year-old, who has attracted interest from several of Europe’s biggest clubs.
According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid have reached a verbal agreement with the player and his representatives regarding the terms of his future contract.
The move is seen as an important step by club president Florentino Perez, who is determined to bring the young talent to Madrid despite strong competition from rival clubs.
Gabriel’s move to the Spanish capital is expected to take place in June 2027.
Besides Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also been in the race for the English-Irish footballer, having contacted the player and his representatives.
However, the Madrid giants appear to have acted faster than their rivals and are currently in a stronger position to complete the deal.
If everything goes according to plan, JJ Gabriel could become another significant investment by Real Madrid for the future.
