Donald Trump announced through a post that he is currently in the Oval Office, where he held a phone conversation with the leaders of several countries regarding the creation of a Memorandum of Cooperation for Peace with the Iran.
According to Trump’s post, negotiations on the agreement have largely been completed, and only the final details for its completion between the United States, Iran, and the other involved countries remain unresolved. At the same time, a separate communication was held with Benjamin Netanyahu, which was described as successful.
One of the key elements of the agreement concerns the resumption of traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, while the final details are still being discussed and are expected to be announced soon.
It was noted that the phone conversation included, among others, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, General Asim Munir from Pakistan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, King Abdullah II of Jordan, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
