Manchester City have made an approach to Barcelona to inquire about the possibility of signing Pau Cubarsí, according to El Nacional.
According to the Spanish outlet, the English club contacted Barcelona regarding the 19-year-old defender, but the response from the Catalan side was immediate.
Barcelona immediately closed the door on any discussions regarding a transfer, considering Cubarsí completely untouchable and an important part of the club’s project.
Cubarsí continues to be regarded as one of Barcelona’s leading young talents, while Manchester City’s interest has not changed the Catalan club’s stance regarding his future.
