“The Queen of the Sunny Hill Festival” has returned. That is how Harper’s Bazaar opens its feature dedicated to Dua Lipa, celebrating her return to Pristina and her standout appearances at the festival she founded alongside her family.
The prestigious fashion magazine highlights not only the global superstar’s performance but also her bold fashion choices, which captured attention throughout the festival.
On the opening night, Dua joined the crowd to experience Katy Perry’s performance up close. She wore a metallic mini dress by Rabanne, crafted entirely from metal chain links. The sleeveless design featured an elegant silhouette and a short skirt adorned with voluminous 3D floral embellishments. She completed the look with her signature black leather boots, which remained her footwear of choice throughout the festival.
The following day, the singer embraced a bohemian festival aesthetic by wearing a white lace ensemble from Chloé, featuring an off-the-shoulder design. She paired the outfit with a wide black belt and once again chose her iconic black boots. Later that evening, she added a red sports jacket to her look and spent the night celebrating with her family.
Sunny Hill Festival was founded in 2018 by Dua Lipa and her parents, who emigrated from Kosovo to London during the 1990s before returning after Kosovo declared independence in 2008.
Although Dua Lipa was born in the United Kingdom, she spent part of her childhood in Pristina. Last year, she officially received Kosovan citizenship, marking the occasion with a memorable appearance on the Sunny Hill Festival stage.
