Salah to replace Ronaldo, set to earn three times more money?

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah could triple his salary to £1.2 million (€1.3 million) per week if he moves to Al-Nassr this summer as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, reports Mirror.

The 33-year-old Egyptian star would become the new face of the Saudi Professional League (SPL) if he can be persuaded to leave Liverpool after nine years at Anfield.

The SPL is looking to replace Portuguese legend Ronaldo (41), who is threatening to leave Al-Nassr amid what he sees as favoritism toward rivals Al-Hilal in the transfer market.

Ronaldo is on the verge of scoring his 1,000th career goal but may return to Europe to achieve this milestone.

He has been linked with an emotional return to his boyhood club, Sporting Lisbon.
