The Portuguese star was asked what advice he would give to his younger self if he had the opportunity to go back in time. Ronaldo said that experience has helped him become more at peace with himself and not be affected by what other people say.
“I’m at peace with myself. As the years go by, you gain experience and understand that there are certain things about you that will never change,” he said.
According to Ronaldo, criticism is an inseparable part of football, and players have to learn how to deal with it.
“Even when you do things right, people will criticize you. Imagine when you do something wrong. It’s part of the game, and I have learned to live with it,” Ronaldo said.
