Didier Deschamps has received an offer to take charge of the Turkey national team, but the French coach has decided to turn down the proposal.
According to Le Figaro, the Turkish Football Federation contacted the former France manager following the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup, but Deschamps, together with his agent Jean-Pierre Bernès, rejected the offer.
Deschamps, who left France after 14 years in charge of the national team, wants to take the necessary time before deciding on his next adventure. He remains open to various opportunities, whether with a European club, in the Gulf region, or as the manager of another national team.
Meanwhile, France have already begun a new era with Zinedine Zidane in charge, following the end of Deschamps’ long tenure.
