Harry Kane has made a special promise to his teammates at Bayern Munich and the England national team after winning the Ballon d’Or on Monday.
Following an outstanding year with both club and country, Kane claimed the prestigious award for the first time in his career, finishing ahead of Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal.
The English striker received the award in his hometown and delivered an emotional speech, thanking everyone who had contributed to his journey to the top of world football.
During 2026, the 33-year-old scored an incredible 61 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich, while also netting 12 goals for the England national team.
Kane celebrated his success with a special evening at a nightclub in London’s Soho district. Now, remaining true to his humble nature, he wants to share this achievement with his teammates.
The England captain has confirmed that he plans to give gifts to players from both Bayern Munich and the national team as a token of appreciation for their contributions to this historic success. Luxury watches are reportedly among the potential gifts.
“Some of the lads have asked me for watches or something similar, so I’ll have to find something nice for them, both at Bayern and with England. I’ll look into it and make sure everyone gets a lovely gift,” Kane said, according to BILD.
Kane himself appeared at the Ballon d’Or ceremony wearing an exceptionally rare Rolex Daytona watch, reportedly valued at close to €1.2 million.
