The Argentine superstar also achieved a new milestone, becoming the fastest player to record 100 goal contributions (goals + assists) in MLS history, surpassing the previous record held by Sebastian Giovinco.
Messi reached the mark in just 64 matches, with 59 goals and 41 assists, while Giovinco needed 95 appearances to achieve the same feat, registering 58 goals and 42 assists.
This season, Messi continues to maintain exceptional form, having scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists in 13 matches, once again confirming the enormous impact he has had since joining Inter Miami CF.
Meanwhile, the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner is aiming to continue this fantastic form with one major goal in mind — the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where Argentina is considered one of the main favorites to win the tournament.
