Cristiano Ronaldo does not want to play a farewell match for the Portugal national team following his retirement from international football.
The Portuguese Football Federation is reportedly planning to organise a tribute ceremony for the Portuguese superstar, but Ronaldo has no intention of returning to the pitch for one final appearance in the national team shirt.
According to reports, a phone call between Ronaldo and Portugal manager Jorge Jesus had also been scheduled for today, with Pedro Proença arranging the conversation, but it never took place.
Furthermore, Ronaldo is reportedly no longer interested in having any contact with the national team coach, making the possibility of an official farewell to Portugal even more uncertain.
