Midfielder Luka Modrić has set three conditions for AC Milan in order to renew his contract.
The Croatian has been among the best players for the “Rossoneri” this season, and therefore the Italian giant wants to continue the cooperation for the next season as well.
However, before this season ends, Modrić has asked Milan to fulfill three conditions.
According to reports from journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Modrić wants a competitive squad that will at least be capable of fighting for a top-three spot in the league.
Participation in the Champions League will be an essential requirement, as the Croatian is missing the most important club competition in the world.
Meanwhile, the third condition is related to Massimiliano Allegri — the Italian coach should remain in charge of the “Rossoneri,” as recent reports suggest he is one of the options to take over the Italian national team.
If Milan manages to meet these conditions, then Modrić will renew his contract and would become the oldest player to play in the Champions League, at the age of 41.
