After the match, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta expressed his satisfaction with his team’s performance, emphasizing that their display on the pitch deserved an even more convincing result.
“It was a fantastic Arsenal team, and I really enjoyed it. In terms of the desire and the way we played. What we did on the pitch is not reflected in the result. I am very happy because it is not easy at all to come here and beat Napoli,” Arteta said.
The Spanish coach also highlighted the importance of the victory, describing the clash with Napoli as an important test for his team.
“It’s the first match, we have passed an important test and we deserved to win. Napoli are a very complicated team to play against,” the Arsenal manager added.
