Bernardo Silva, the 31-year-old footballer who joined Real Madrid from Manchester City after his contract expired this summer, said he was proud to have joined the most successful club in the world.
“I have played at the Bernabéu several times – when you arrive and see the 15 Champions League titles they display there, it is very impressive, and having them here makes it very special,” Silva told the club’s television channel, Real Madrid TV.
“Playing for a club that has 15 Champions League titles is not for everyone, so I am very proud, and now I will give everything for this club.”
Silva’s former Manchester City teammate, Rodri, joined Madrid’s rivals Barcelona on Tuesday.
